A UK Health & Safety firm is about to deploy podcasts to assist organisations keep up to date with changing Workplace Safety regulations.

Euro Environmental Ltd is producing a series of podcasts over a period of 12 months covering advice and regulation updates on such things as Asbestos Management, Noise & Vibration, COSHH and Legionella. “The Podcasts are planned to be informative short soundbites providing essential information & interviews from industry specialists” – says Lee Hall Managing Director.

Significance to Internet marketers

Remember that podcasting is essentially a communications channel. Audio podcasts such as these are particularly suited to brief updates that can be consumed "on the move". There are many industry sectors which need to convey important information updates to clients & staff in a rapid and easily consumable way. This is a great example, and one which could be repeated in many organisations.
