Enhanced Podcast

An enhanced podcast contains separate chapters which can contain separate images and even web links. When played in iTunes or on an iPod, the chapters may be jumped to and the displayed image changes as each chapter is traversed.

Currently, the specification for enhanced podcasts is proprietary with Apple Inc and enhanced podcasts can only be played in iTunes or on an iPod. However, an open standard is being worked on.
